Just wanted to bring your attention to a very special & worthy project that launches on November 27th and runs until December 4th....the 12th Annual REALTORS Care Blanket Drive.  According to the GVRD, the number of homeless has doubled between 2002 and 2005 and with the weather getting wetter and colder, this campaign for warm blankets & clothing is crucial.  About 140 real estate offices will be collecting donations and I'd like to encourage everyone to clean out those closets and give what you can!  Let's try make this winter a little more bearable for those in need! 

The Woodwards presentation centre is open! I was able to preview the display suite and register clients today, amidst long lineups of other interested people at the Shaw Tower on 1077 West Cordova. There is also a column in today's Vancouver Sun by Pete McMartin with more details and insights. Pricing for some of the plans was better than expected with 1 beds from $240,000-$430,000 (less than $350/sq ft) and some were of course much higher than that such as the K plan, 1155 sq ft for $665,000-$998,000 depending on floor. Deposits will be 10% initial with another 10% in 6 months and we don't know if there will be another 5% after that yet.
